Designed to test up to 40 feet of vertical pipe, the Test-Tite Mechanical Cleanout Test Plug delivers a reliable seal that lasts longer than standard pneumatic test plugs to avoid leakage during testing. A clear cap allows users to monitor the test media as it drains, and an expandable rubber gasket creates a seal that is both air- and watertight. An innovative design allows the mechanical cleanout plug to hand-tighten in place in seconds, with no tools, hoses, or gauges needed for installation. A variety of plug diameters are available to fit most DWV pipe sizes, with models designed for plastic piping, cast-iron piping, or both. The 6-inch-diameter model contains a drain line with a key to control drainage of the test media. All models feature durably designed plated-steel parts that won’t rust.
