Taco Circulator Pumps
Taco Circulators by Series: 007, 009, 0010 and 007e
The 007-F5 is the entry point: cast iron, 115V, 1/25 HP, with an integral flow check built into the pump so zoned systems do not need a separate in-line check valve. The 009-F5 and 0011-F4 step up to 1/8 HP, and Taco positions the 009 for higher-head, lower-flow jobs such as radiant in-floor heating.
Stainless is for water that people use. The 006 is a 1/40 HP stainless pump with 3/4" threaded connections, and the 009-SF5 is stainless at 1/8 HP, which Taco lists for light commercial domestic water recirculation. The 0010-SF3 is a three-speed stainless service pump meant to replace failed circulators on no-heat calls. The cast iron 0010 is a cartridge-style circulator with an integral flow check.
The 007e carries an ECM motor with performance equal to the 007, and Taco rates it for zoned hydronic systems and domestic water recirculation, though not for chilled water. It runs on 120V. The 0012, 0013 and 0015 are three-speed, and the 2400 series steps up to 1/2 HP for bigger systems. Whichever pump you pick, it needs a matching set of pump flanges on the piping.
