- Plastic-lined nipple is ideal for connecting two dissimilar pipe and fitting materials, such as red brass or bronze, with black and galvanized steel or malleable iron.
- Not recommended for connection with stainless steel fittings or pipe
- Designed to reduce galvanic and stray current corrosion by isolating the dissimilar connection from the media flow
- Durable, welded Schedule 40 nipple and PEX plastic liner are permanently bonded together.
- The PEX liner's edge extends onto the front edge of the nipple's ends, assuring complete isolation from the water at the connection.
- Can be installed in domestic or commercial hot or cold water systems or hydronic heating applications
