Description
UPSe 26 is a high-efficiency, variable speed, wet-rotor circulator fitted with an electronically commutated permanent magnet motor (ECM). Engineered for hydronic HVAC systems in large residential and light commercial buildings and supports many applications, including space heating, indirect domestic hot water (DHW), snow melting, and space cooling. Compatible with gas — and oil— fired boilers as a primary pump, with options for external control via 0–10 V DC voltage or pulse width modulation (PWM) signals. Suitable for cold water ground loops in geothermal heat pump applications, the pump is designed to operate in condensing environments where liquid temperature falls below the surrounding ambient temperature, and is compatible with a 50/50 water/glycol mixture.
Delivering the best energy efficiency rating in its class, the pump offers multiple control modes— constant pressure and proportional pressure — that optimize operation in variable flow systems, reducing energy consumption by up to 80 % compared to equivalent permanent split capacitor (PSC) circulators.
