Description
The Gruvlok Series 7800 is an 8" check valve designed for grooved-end piping systems. Its swing clapper is held against the valve body in the fully open position to maximize flow area and help prevent clapper flutter. The clapper design provides quick, non-slam closure before flow reversal, while the Grade E EPDM clapper facing is recommended for water service, diluted acids, alkaline solutions, oil-free air, and many chemical services.
