Merit Brass 2012-850 3/4" X 8 1/2" Schedule 40 Red Brass Nipple (Lead Free)
This specification covers Brass Pipe Nipples used in piping applications as determined by Engineering as a function of what is being transported in the system, pressure ratings, temperature of material and line pressure.
Brass Pipe Nipples provided by Merit Brass Co. shall conform to ASTM B43 (Standard Specification for Seamless Red Brass Pipe, Standard Sizes) produced from Copper Alloy C23000 (Red Brass). C23000 is a Copper/Zinc alloy; other elements, including Lead (0.05% Max.) and Iron (0.05% Max.), are not intentionally added to the alloy. These elements may be present, but will exist only as impurities. This product is suitable for above, or below ground, applications.
