If your water pressure drops whenever someone turns on another shower or faucet, the Grundfos SCALA2 is built to help with that. It boosts the pressure and adjusts on its own depending on how much water the house is using. It can handle homes up to 3 floors with as many as 8 taps.
One of the nice things about the SCALA2 is that most of the system is already built into the unit. The pump, motor, tank, sensor, drive, and non-return valve are all together in one compact housing. That means less equipment to install and less space needed. It’s also very quiet, running at under 44 dB(A) in normal use.
You can use it to boost pressure from city water, storage tanks, or shallow wells. It’s self-priming, has dry-run protection, and can be installed indoors or outdoors. For well applications, it can pull water from up to 26 feet deep.
